Recognizing that further liberalisation of the distributive trade sector promotes domestic economic development, these Guidelines on Foreign Participation in the Distributive Trade Services Malaysia (Guidelines) seek to ensure that a progressive liberalisation process can lead to a balanced growth beneficial to both local and foreign players.
